Field Trip

Eagles at Conowingo Dam, Maryland.  This is a great place to see LOTS of bald eagles of all ages.  The eagles congregate here all year but especially in the winter.   The fishing is easy because the dam churns up the fish and the water never freezes.  We went in early November and saw at least 30 eagles flying, fishing and fighting.

          We also went to Bombay Hook in Delaware.  There were thousands of Snow Geese offshore.  We saw Harrier Hawks cruising the marsh.
